Services Provided
We provide individual and business tax return preparation, accounting and bookkeeping services, and payroll services (managed through Gusto) virtually throughout Minnesota.
Specific services are outlined in written engagement letters detailing scope, fees, and responsibilities.
Client Responsibilities
Provide complete, accurate, timely information
Maintain original documents and records
Respond promptly to information requests
Review all work product before filing
Pay fees as outlined in engagement letter
Our Responsibilities
Perform services per professional standards
Exercise due professional care
Apply professional judgment to tax law interpretation
Limitations:
Cannot guarantee specific results
Not responsible for errors from client's incomplete information
Cannot guarantee returns won't be audited
Only responsible for services in engagement letter
Fees and Payment
Fees are based on complexity and outlined in engagement letters. Payment is due upon completion or per payment schedule. Late payments may incur interest charges.
Additional services outside original scope may incur additional fees. Fees for completed work are non-refundable.
Confidentiality
We maintain strict confidentiality per professional standards and GLBA. See Privacy Policy for details.
Confidentiality has limits: we may disclose information when legally required or when professional standards mandate reporting.
Electronic Communications
We use email and secure portal for communications and document delivery. You consent to electronic communications by engaging our services.
While we use secure systems, no electronic transmission is completely secure. You accept these risks.
Use our secure portal for sensitive documents, not unencrypted email.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Total liability for any claim shall not exceed fees paid for services giving rise to the claim.
This does not limit liability for fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.
Termination
Either party may terminate with written notice. Upon termination:
Client pays for services performed to termination date
We provide copies of documents and work product upon request
We cooperate with new professionals for transition
Dispute Resolution
Governing Law: Minnesota law governs these Terms.
Jurisdiction: Disputes brought in Minnesota state or federal courts.
Mediation: Parties agree to attempt mediation before litigation.
